Course Description

This course is for people who want to develop the knowledge and skills to work in management in the Logistics Sector. Students will study Transport Operations, Contract Negotiations, Supplier Management, Supply Chain Practices and Risk Management, as well as developing their project skills and customer service skills.

Entry Requirements

There are no entry requirements, however, it is recommended that applicants:

  • Have completed Certificate IV in Procurement and Contracting or Supply Chain Operations or International Freight Forwarding and are proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel

Applicants with no formal qualification who can provide evidence of relevant 3 years work experience (by providing a detailed Resume showing employing organisation’s details, detailed description of the duties performed and contact details of their Supervisor who can be contacted) will be considered.

Course Outcome

Students who gain this qualification can further their study in the TLI60122 Advanced Diploma of Materiel Logistics or TLI60222 Advanced Diploma of Supply Chain Management. Job roles and titles may vary across different industry sectors but typically include Logistics Manager and Supply Chain Manager.
